Jackie Chan film being shot in Mangystau

Filming has begun in the Mangystau Region for the international movie project «Armour of God 4: Ultimatum», starring world-renowned actor Jackie Chan, according to «24KZ».

The large-scale project is being produced with the participation of two Kazakh film companies. The first scenes featuring the region’s unique landscapes have already been filmed.

One of the movie’s key filming locations is the Bozzhyra tract. A 35-member film crew worked there from June 7 to June 12.

Production is expected to be completed later this year, while the film is scheduled for release in February 2027.

As part of the visit, the creative team met with Mangystau Region Akim Nurdaulet Kilybay. The parties discussed the development of the creative industry, the production of film and television projects, and the promotion of the region’s tourism potential.
