Kazakhstan and the European Union enter a new phase of cooperation

Kazakhstan and the European Union are entering a new phase of cooperation. The Head of State announced this in an article published on the Euronews website, according to «24KZ».

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that ten years have passed since the signing of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Kazakhstan and the EU in 2015. During this period, the European Union has become Kazakhstan’s largest trade and investment partner.

According to the President, despite ongoing geopolitical developments, Kazakhstan continues to pursue a multi-vector foreign policy and seeks to serve as a bridge between different regions of the world. He identified energy, logistics, and the development of digital technologies as key areas for future cooperation.

It is worth noting that the President will visit Brussels and hold talks with the leadership of the European Union.
