Five Parties Win Seats in Kurultai: Final Election Results Announced in Kazakhstan

The Central Election Commission has announced the final results of the Kurultai elections, 24KZ reports. Five parties have won seats in the new unicameral parliament.

Adilet secured a decisive victory with 71.17% of the vote. Auyl received 6.26%, Respublica – 5.56%, Ak Zhol – 5.21%, and OSKDP – 5.11%. The People's Party of Kazakhstan and Baytaq failed to clear the five-percent threshold. Another 2.51% of voters cast their ballots against all candidates.

The Kurultai has a total of 145 seats. They will be distributed as follows: Adilet will receive 110 seats, Auyl – 10, and Respublica – 9. Ak Zhol and Nationwide Social-Democratic Party will each have 8 deputies.
